From the Spiral Tarot - Kay Steventon "Coming events cast their shadows before" Thomas Campbell Over the years I have had many requests as a reader and teacher to guide others to Goddess. My answer....one prays to God, one becomes Goddess. It is a feeling of allowing the source of love and magic to open within you. As more specific instructions - sitting quietly and going deep within..go beyond the first gates of TO DO, then insist on passing thru the gates of BOREDOM, gently glide thru the gates of DOUBT and then make a left....there will be the table with tea waiting for you. the SHE may or may not join you. What matters is that you drink calmly and become a part of the rhythm of Her garden. Tarot Exercise After a few minutes of quietly sitting with your deck, choose all the cards that would make for a perfect Goddess scene. I chose the Ace of Pentalces as the main graphic for this emailer because if I were in the Goddess Garden, some of the trees would look like this. What would Eden look like? Which symbols would you expect or need? Before selecting your cards visually, pick one card face down . You may not like it but it will be a balancer for this holy garden. After you have selected the cards, make note of the cards selected and the reason. Over the next few weeks, take one of the cards and meditate only on the symbol or the scene of this particular card. Go Goddess dreaming by entering Her dream. Write your impressions after each meditation. The sum of all the meditations will be a strong narrative of your current relationship with the feminine deity. Non Tarot Exercise This is a perfect turning of the wheel for balancing and banishing. Spend some time doing honest inventory about your life. What is out of whack? What do you keep complaining about? Where are you going unattended? What are you procrastinating over? What are you truly grateful for? What has changed for the better? Once you have the inventory, draw a circle. Write within the circle what you would love to receive, accept, earn, know this Spring. On the outside of the circle, note anything that is throwing you out of balance such as self defeating behaviors. This is a very simple talisman. Charge it with the light of the growing sun or in the gentle light of the moon. Information and Ideas The Star of the North is an intimate tarot gathering during Feb 3 and 4th in Eagan, MN.
